That's very funny. Previously, in the Samurai tradition, suicide was a
socially acceptable way of dealing with personal and ethical dilemmas. It was
also a way of avoiding being captured alive by the enemy who would in turn would
have their way with the prisoner. Now that suicide or even ideating suicide has
been transubstantiated into mental illness, even the modern Japanese have
embraced this nonsense.
