That's a good suggestion. But a word of caution is probably in
order. When entering the waters of political activism, it is wise to
heed the advice of James Wasserman[from 'The Slaves Shall Serve']:

'Politicians are responsive to public opinion. While many Americans
sit in their living rooms drooling at the command of the media,
concerned people can write letters to their representatives....
While the folks in Congress may not be geniuses, they can count to
two. And every two years they will face you at the polls. They have
all kinds of formulas taught by their handlers about how many voters
each personal letter actually represents. Make phone calls. Send
emails. Always be polite. Remember, these folks can literally kill
you if you appear to threaten them....'

They might also go for the more convenient and legally sanctioned
option of having you involuntarily committed! Take care.
