So, don't know how many of you have followed the Britney Spears case, but
here's what I consider the most pertinent points:
1-Her family has had her committed twice.
2-Her father is going to court, while she is in the hospital, to be given
all of her money.
3-The terms of commitment restrain her lawyer and agent from visiting.
Might these relate to one purpose of commitment, to Dr. Szasz's point that
this is a political, not medical, act?
