Re: Was "Heresies" ever published in a hardback edition?

Is that a "trick question"? I have a paperback copy. I checked the
Library of Congress catalog but could not determine if the book in
the LOC collection is hard back. The book's card apparently does
not state whether the copy if hard back or paperback. Or I missed
it. My hunch is that the book at the LOC is a paperback. Probably
no hard cover ever published. But to be absolutely sure you might
contact the Library of Congress and see if anyone there can answer
the question. While you are talking to the person at the library,
ask him why the card provided via the internet does not indicate the
format of the book, i.e. paperback or hardback. You mighit try to
get in touch with Anchor Books at Anchor Press/Doubleday at Garden
City, New York. But that company is probably defunct. Let us know
what you find out.
