Headaches and migraines are almost always caused by the same
underlying reason.
We who suffer from these conditions are more sensitive to stress and
tension than other people around us.
The trouble is that we build up emotional tension in the body and
mind every day.
When we¡¯re faced with the smallest rise in tension around us, it¡¯s
like a pot that overflows and we experience a headache attack.
The damn thing is that it doesn¡¯t matter if the tension is positive
or negative. How many times have you been attached by headaches or
migraines when¡
.There is rising tension between you and your loved one
.You¡¯re faced with the biggest challenge of your life
.An event that you¡¯ve been looking forward to is coming up
.You really need to be there for someone
Other people can handle this overflow of tension or block it out. You
on the other hand, get sick because you suffer from migraine or
chronic headaches.
And because the tension that you¡¯re feeling is different from the
tension of most people around you, their methods of relaxing and
reducing stress do not work.
For example, I¡¯ve found that most people who suffer from headaches
have tension developing in their eyes, neck, shoulders and the
muscles around the skull and face.
If you also have a neck pain, you prove my point!
The tension in your eyes and skull is usually not that obvious and
you may not be aware of it until it¡¯s released.
The method you¡¯re about to discover, gives you ways to avoid
developing more tension in these parts of your body, and simple
techniques to remove the tension that you already have.
Within days, you are totally free of the horrible migraines and
headaches that you¡¯ve been suffering from for so long.

Hello to all!! I am a new member to the group & hope to be able to give
& get helpful info on migraine headaches. I am might as well a 31 yr.
old mother & I have suffered from migraines since late 1986 early 1987.
I was finally diagonsed by a neurologist a week ago that I do have
migraine headaches. My family doctor kept telling me that I didn't have
migraines & told me to take ibuprofen when I do get a migraine then put
me on verapmil & another medicine amitriplyln (or however you spell
it). When I went to see the neurologist her upped my dosage of verapil
& took me off of amitriplyln telling that I did not need it. He also
gave me Esgic-Plus for me to take when I do have a migraine. Besides
having migraines I have epilepsy, seizures & have cerebal palsy (on one
side of my body). But I do not let that get me down. The neurologist
that go to told me that the resaon why I have seizurs is because of
the scar tissue on my brain from my cerebal palsy. I hope that I can
find helpful & usful information in this group & if anyone would like
to know more about me please just ask.

seeing my old doc (I have just moved) and he spent about 7-12

Does anyone else find that their headaches/migraines are affected by
the barometric pressure changes? This summer has been very hot..and
the heat aggravates my headaches..but then when a storm front comes in

you care about these words.

Hi there,

I am SAM, an Iraqi refugee living in Lebanon at the moment; I have spent the
last 10 years of my life as a refugee registered with the UNHCR in Beirut. The
last 4 years, I have spent as an activist for peace and human rights (especially
refugees and asylum seekers) on the Internet; I'm also books author and ebooks
publisher. I have launched many campaigns to improve our situation as refugees
in Lebanon and hopefully bring more understanding to our problems worldwide. I
helped make many changes and improvements at the UNHCR office in Beirut; I used
the Internet as the field for my activities (you can read more about that in my
free ebook 'MY CAMPAIGNS'). All my ebooks are free and could be download from my
sites.

This is my newest campaign, it's about the illegal and humiliating actions of
the UNHCR, who using photos of refugees as banners and human-buttons to collect
money. This is an abuse of the dignity and humanity of the refugees and must
stop immediately and a clear public apology present by The United Nations High
Commissioner for Refugees. My friends, I am talking about the pictures you can
see here: http://human.beplaced.com
Where you can read the rest of this message as web page.

Also you can read my new campaign 'Urgent, we need smile' here:
http://unhcrlebanon.wtcsites.com/smile.html

For more info about UNHCR and life of refugees you can read my free ebooks. I
invite you as fellow humans and members of the world community to support my
campaign by reading my article on my site and see the human-buttons. The
campaign is to support and improve the UNHCR http://www.unhcr.ch especially
after the last scandals in the UN and UNHCR, just for example: The refugees
allege that UNHCR staff is selling most of the food items they are supposed to
be supplied.
"They aren't supplying sufficient food to us because they sell most of the food
items," they allege: http://allafrica.com/stories/200503140214.html

Here is another example: Burmese Refugees Withdraw Protest Against UNHCR

Together we will build better world.

Hi,
I am new to this group, but not to the world of migraines. Yet i do
not know how to cope with it. Medicines temporarily puts it off for a
while, but it lasts for 4-5 days for sure.
I was wondering anybody/everybody could share with me, how they work
with this problem in their day to day life. Whether one would retreat
to their bedroom and sleep it off?
I have invited some guests tonight for dinner, and I am already with
the pain since morning... and it is for sure going to get worse, not
any better. :(

thanks.

Is it somewhat common to have a tension headache that lasts for
several days? I have had what I feel is a tension headache now for
around four days. I do not think it is bad enough to call a migraine.
Basically I have felt a lot of tightness in my lower-back scalp down
to my mid neck. Also sometimes a little tightness on the sides of the
scalp. I also would not clasify this as, "Pain," but more
as, "Tightness." What type of headache is this?

Thanks,

Josh

hello everybody
I just joined this group to share what I have discovered about
migranes. I suffered with migraines over 5 years. I started drinking
raw goat milk back in febuary and I have not had a headache since
then. What a relief!!!!!! Maybe some of you can try the same thing
also. I don't know if store brought milk will do the trick. It is kind
of hard to find raw milk in this day and age. I have a few web sites
saved in my favorites about raw milk. If the owner of this group will
let me post them I will. Just mostly information about raw milk. I
don't sell milk myself so I have nothing to gain with this information.

Hi there Neil

I Know where your coming from I have suffered migrains from 1998 and
they have got worse over the years I had one that lasted over 5 days,
I have tried Amitryptyline and Nortriptyline also I am on Zomig
rapemelt and Imagram and then Imagram radeus. I was takeing the
Imagram about 6 times a week and the doc said I cant go on like this
so he sent me to a newro and he has decided to put me on Topomax and a
nasel spray and antiinflamatrys so I will be starteing them at the end
of this week. I have had Accupunture and it helped a little in the
beging but then it stopped. I get a headache every day maybe 2 times
a day and then it you have a funny feeling it is going to turn into
the black monster migraine and I cant describe the feeling of a
migraine just at the very start but you know it is on the way. The
newro ask me how do I know when it is a migraine, like I told him its
just a feeling you get that cant be explained. I also found that with
my migrains that where i get the pain I used my sons cool and sooth
blue gel patch and put it on the area where the pain is and it is so
cold it last up to 5 hours and that does help to take the edge of the
migrain if you can take cold on your head. Ihope things get better
for you the best thing to do is keep nagging the doc if nothing works
and get to a newro if nothing works he might sort it out better.

             Good luck Josy

I had done posting of treating "Migraine", with the help of
Acupressure on
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/AcupressureDoctor any one can
get its membership and download the treatment.

No visit to doctor is required and no basic skill is required to do
these exercises. It just requires simple 16 minutes of exercises,
which can be done at any time in a day. It can be done alone and its
knowledge is also free. As many people have got the treatment
downloaded and doing it.

Thank you all for your inputs; I am getting on my personal email ID
from many people who are doing it.
I request them to put all appreciations on the group, so it will
help all new comers to come forward and adopt the treatment.

Since Internet sells a lot on EXPOSING "Migraine Treatments", many
people feel that there might be some hidden cost or this group is a
commercial. Please make a clear note of awareness that, this
treatment is 100% FREE and the group is 100% Charity.

I am looking forward for the feedback, can any body help, to improve
the treatment better.

Thanks and regards

Dr. Manjinder Singh,
MD. Acupressure,
India.

Hello,
Do you work for many hours in the PC? Then, its better
to learn about Diabetes
as it can come to anyone at any age regardless of your
family background!
Go to http://www.yahoouk.org/diabetes.htm to get free
relavent links. I found it really useful and felt it
necessary to inform other members of the group.
Thanks,
Anusha
