hello everyone,<br>i am newly diagnosed, though
certainly not new to the headaches and all that goes with.
they started about 2-3 months ago following hip
replacement surgery [avascular necrosis/steonecrosis]. i'm
epileptic and also once had a stroke and thought that
perhaps i was having TIAs--finally got scared enough to
see my neurologist last week after a drooling
incident [i know. how gross and embarassing. but i didn't
even care, my head began to hurt so badly.]. he is
great and reassured me that i was having classic
migraines. gave me imitrex [100 mg.] to take at onset of
aura. but now i am second-guessing myself. anyway, i
look forward to getting support and education from
you. as a member of the AVN support group, i have
learned how valuable that can be. it also keeps me from
wasting my docs' valuable time.<br>--lisa
