Hi,
I wanted to ask the members of this club
if you'd consider sharing your opinions about the
effectiveness of the Migraine treatments you've tried, at a
non-commercial web site I have started?

My story - I've
had Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/M.E. since 1982, or as
someone said "I had it before it didn't exist." I had
just returned to the States from England where I went
to univ. (I went to Sheffield and then Lancaster
University where I got my degree in Religious Studies - for
all the good that has done me!). My wife and I were
remodeling an older house and the constant exposure to
different toxic chemicals etc. brought on the CFS. By 1988
I was finally feeling better - thanks to massage,
some nutritional supplements and an anti-depressant
which really helped me sleep well. In 1994 I had a
relapse of the CFS from daily allergy attacks that I did
nothing to treat. This time I've been much more agressive
in trying to treat the illness and now I'm at about
70% of normal energy.

Anyway, largely out of
frustration at not being able to figure out which treatments
would help my CFS and other symptoms the most (sleep
and digestive problems, depression etc.) 6 months ago
I created a non-sponsored, objective web site where
treatments for illnesses like Arthritis, CFS, Fibromyalgia,
Headaches etc. can be rated and shared. It is called
Remedyfind, and it's address is - http://www.remedyfind.com I
honestly think it has the most comprehensive lists of
treatments -from medications to nutritional supplements,
alternative therapies, self-care and psychological therapies
of any site on the web and I would like to invite
you all to add your two cents worth. The site is not
trying to sell anything and your privacy is strictly
protected. You can either rate anonymously, or after
registering and making up a member name which also gives you
more options on the site. Obviously each of us is
unique, and what works for one person will not
necessarily work for another. Still, it’s my hope that with
large enough numbers we will be able to see some useful
health treatment trends – that, like the old "cream will
rise to the top" analogy, the most generally effective
remedies will start to make themselves apparent. We really
need to get more ratings for headache treatments, and
I thought that some members of this club might be
willing to join the site and add their ratings.
All
the best, Brett
("earthling" at Remedyfind)
