I am getting so excited about going! I just needed to say that.

Like a couple of years ago, I am gonna post a time and place to meet:

1pm at Lost and Found (I found that to mean more then I thought the first year we did this). It is in the main concert area, I believe that the area will be open by then.

We will just meet in front of it. Since the festival promoters are not having anything to do with this, they won't know, so don't ask them.

I say that Thur, Fri, and Sat we will do this. If there is a large turn out, we can plan to meet up later too.

My and my friends are going to stay at Lake Sallie, and we plan on getting there pretty early on Wen. so I was going to put up yellow balloons around our camp site so if anyone would like to join us, or meet up there, we can do that too.

As the subject heading says. I am a little stoked about the reunion of one of my favorite bands. So, I wanna see a lot of my peeps getting their boogie on at this show

I know there a huge blowup over Phish right now. Rightfully so. I am catching them several times this summer.

There is this little festival (oh say about 50,000 of your good friends) happening on July 4th weekend. I wanted y'all to know that we will have a full compliment of pholks there and the festivities will rage Yellow Balloon style. I am honored to coordinate the table, once again, for this event. I will have 5 able bodied workers with me to make sure that all goes down smooth. In addition, Camp Traction will have drug and alcohol phree camping. http://www.camptraction.com/

We will do it like we always do at the festies. Two meetings a day. One usually at high noon. The other TBA. Camp Traction will also be doing meetings at their digs. As it gets closer to the event, we'll be giving y'all a holler.

So come join us in a really beautiful part of the Great Lakes State. We'll give you some good old Midwest hospitality and show you that the Phreak Show is alive and well at the Double J Ranch. Dang, a ranch 1000's of miles away from Texas. Go figure.

So, I am going to put up my digits. Feel free to save this number for the Festival.

I cherish the time that Dylan worked here professionally and I know

Camp Traction have a last minute opportunity to have some form of
Sober Support at Delfest  May 22-24, 2009 Allegany County Fairgrounds
. Cumberland, Maryland.
You can check out the line up at http://www.delfest.com/
We have never had a presence here before and are looking for two clean
and sober people with at least one year and have some table
experience, who might be interested in Hosting Camp Traction and
possibly run a table over the weekend to offer clean and sober support
to those in our community
Camp Duties would include a small amount of organization, setting up
an area, hanging a banner and some balloons and hosting a couple of
meetings a day.

We are in the process of securing a camping area for a limited number of campers at Cherry Creek State Park Campground just outside southeast Denver in Aurora for the Phish run at Red Rocks Amphitheatre July 30- August 2. The site has been especially reserved for us. It is the only group camping site available at this time for occupancy, for the dates specified, in the entire Denver area.

We are taking a poll to see how many people would like to join us on this adventure. Please review this message, check out the link, and share with us your thoughts and feelings surrounding this concept.

The group campsite will accomodate a sizeable amount of campers for literally pennies on the dollar in comparison to any Denver or Boulder area hotel/motel. The campground has its own shower and laundry facilities, and is just over a half-hour's drive from the venue.

"Anchored around a 880 surface acre reservoir, the park offers a natural prairie environment of gentle, rolling hills and complete outdoor recreation facilities..."

This is a collective effort, and prototype for Camp Traction and will be potentially the premier camping experience, independent of a festival. Last I heard, there aren't tables at shows, but it's still possible to meet "old style." Post on the Yahoo! Group that you're going to a particular show, ask who else is going... take yellow balloons with you. I've always found that it's good to head for the spot where yellow balloon groups typically have their table/meetings if it's a place where other yellow balloon related bands frequently play. Or, coordinate a meeting spot on the list and still bring yellow balloons in case there are any non-list members in the crowd who will recognize the yellow balloon. You'll be surprised who you might meet. I used to do that at west coast Phish shows before there was the Phellowship. I remember a show at Cal Expo in Sacramento (9/27/95) - very recently post-Jerry. I went to the usual spot with a yellow balloon hoping some c&s concert goers would come... and they did!!!
