Welcome to the group. I take it you were at the Blossom Music Center show. We
are a great bunch of showgoers and the Jellyfish community is very tight knit.
Many of us travel together and here on line will post where and when we will be
at a show. We tend to gather at the multi day same venue shows for a big Jelly
lunch. We also cross polinate with the other sober fan groups at such festivals
at Langerado ( March) and Bonnaroo. Wakurusa and Vegoose to name a few.

To volunteer at show when the band is on tour. The website will allow you to
contact the regional coordinator for the show. Your region (the midwest) is
covered by your fellow statesperson, Dave S, from Cleveland.

As to dating, that is a whole other can of worms. Many of us in the rooms know
we should not date anyone under a year clean. For me, I might have a different
standard. I know for me and I do say me that if someone is still going through
a daily struggle to stay clean is not in a position to be dating.

I became aware of the jellyfish through a woman at the Big Summer
Classic tour in Ohio. I am in recovery and I have also worked as a
substance abuse counselor. I would like to know how I could volunteer
at concerts this summer perhaps regionally or even if I would have to
travel a bit if anyone knows how i do it let me know. In the mean-time
is there any advice u could give me about dating a recovering heroin
addict. I never shot up and i have a hard time being understanding of
her cravings and mind-set. she seems to have a much tougher time with
sobriety than I do, but has managed 8 months without dope and a month
w/o drinking.
