I haven't done any herb collecting and drying
this year (other than just one small bunch of lavender
stalks!), but in other years I've dried lots and lots of
peppermint for teas and just to scent the air. I've dried
lemon verbena for tea and the scent, catnip for the cat
and the dogs--even they like to chew on it! I didn't
have much success with lemon balm for tea; it lost
most of its flavor.<br><br>I'm looking forward to
having a large bed of lavender so I can dry lots of it.
I love lavender! I like to hang bunches of it in my
room to scent the air.<br><br>Marie
