too busy in here yet, but I have the feeling it soon
will be.<br>My wife, Barb, and I are about to have a
baby girl (Marissa). You can read about that in the
earlier messages. Anyway, when we were first told that
Marissa would be cleft lip and palate, Barb was
devastated and started talking about abortion. Now, I must
tell you that I am a man of very strong christian
faith and foundations, and that type of talk just
wasn't going to sit well with me. Barb and I went
through a really rough period in our marriage due to
this, but she finally relented, and accepted Marissa
the way she is. Soon she started to look for
solutions, rather than at a physical deformity. Barb has
grown a lot as a person through all of this, and is now
actually looking forward to Marissa's arrival. Every now
and then, she still hits the blues, but for the most
part, she is doing fine. If you'll alllow me, I'd like
to print the messages you've posted here to show
her, and to continue to encourage her. Thanks for your
