Great post!! Thanks for sharing about yourself. Glad you found us!
I've been in this group for over a year now, and it's a great place.
I'm a 35 year old woman with a unilateral cleft lip with gum/nose
involvement. I live in New Jersey, USA. I'm very happy with my life
overall, but this club/group has given me support that I didn't even
realize I needed. It's a great place. The people here have become
practically family to me.
I was intrigued that you are Irish. (By the way, our house hasn't
been the same either since Ireland lost to Spain!!)
I'm an Irish-American and I'm very into Irish culture. My husband
and his groomsman even wore rented kilts (the Traditional Irish
Tartan - green plaid pattern) at our wedding last year. The whole
kilt/tux garb!! I put a lot of Irish touches into our wedding. I
even hired the famous Andy Cooney Band to play at our wedding, too!!
Have you heard of him?
Have you heard of the band Raglan Road? Great Irish-American group
that plays mostly Irish/Rock music. Great stuff!!
Anyway, now I've been rambling....Welcome and keep posting....I'm
sure others will learn from you. You seem like you have a lot to
offer the group - you are very open about yourself :)
Bye for now, Weezy (Lisa)
***There are more than one Lisa's here, so I mostly go by "Weezy."
