I am very grateful to Dr. Wakefield for discovering that measles
viruses are ruining our children's health. His courage in going against
the medical prehistorical system is amazing and valuable.
One day, his work will be valued and displayed in medical journals. It
takes a long time for traditional (and primitive minds) to chew, digest
and asimilate what is so evident to the eyes of hundreds of parents but
so hidden and mysterious to "them" the medical community.
It is unbelievable that to the date, most doctors still do not
understand the simple truths that Dr. Wakfield has placed on the table.
Blessings to you, Dr. Wakefield and to your family that has gone
through many ordeals for the sake of true science.

Thanks to Dr Wakefield for recognising that 100 year old science by Nobel Prize
winners like Charles Richet is correct.

And the removal of mercury although claimed has yet as at March 2008 happened.

For example; Countries in Asia this year (2008) stop vaccinations because of
DEATHS.

In the WEST these are simply coincidental SIDS following closely on
vaccinations.

NEW science based on POWER rather than facts does not beat OLD SCIENCE based on
OBSERVATION and TRUTH.

ANAPHYLAXIS is a normal but UNWANTED reaction to vaccines.

Immunising ALL and IGNORING the fallen warriors (SIDS, autism et al) is POWER
POLITICS not VACCINE SCIENCE.

Thank you for understanding how we feel and not giving up until an
answer is found.  Two of my children have autism and our baby is ok
for now (we have not given him the MMR).  I have searched for months
to find someone in my state who will break out the MMR into single
vaccines for my littlest one and have finally succeeded!  You
probably won't ever see this but I have always wanted to find out
from you if the measles vaccine alone is safe or just as risky as it
is in the MMR.

       Informed Americans must stand up and tell the Health
Authorities (including the CDC and FDA) that we will not allow
Mercury, a known neurotoxin, to be injected into ourselves and our

       Dear Concerned Citizen,

       Thimerosal, a mercury based preservative used in flu shots, is
49.6 % ethyl mercury. Mercury is a potent neurotoxin that can build
up in tissues, organs and brain tissue causing a variety of
neurological, endocrine and immune system problems.

       In addition to recommending that adults get their flu shots
this year, the CDC is recommending that children and pregnant women
also receive flu shots. The 25 mcg. of mercury in each shot is the
EPA mercury dosage for a 550 lb. person. This is over the toxic
limits for adults, but for a toddler and a fetus, this amount of
mercury is hundreds of times the toxic exposure limits. And,
toddlers are recommended to get a series of two shots!

       According to recent media articles quoting the CDC, they have
chosen to have a neutral stand on whether or not thimerosal should
be used in vaccines. As concerned Americans who believe our children
were mercury poisoned, it is our opinion that this is irresponsible
as a government agency and reckless to Americans' health.

       Adventis, the largest manufacturer of flu shots for the US,
says it can make either thimerosal containing or thimerosal-free
vaccines. They just need to know from physicians and other health
agencies what they need to make. Therefore, the CDC needs to
immediately state the preference that all shots should be made
without mercury, especially those given to children and pregnant
mothers.

       Please take a moment to sign the petition if you feel
Americans are exposed to too much mercury, and if you believe that
the last thing people need is mercury in their flu shots created to
keep them healthy.

Dear Dr. Wakefield,

I am the mother of a 16 month old daughter who originally became interested in
the vaccine debate when my daughter was hospitalized after her first Hep B shot
at 2 months of age. When this shot was given to her I was told that it was
almost unheard of to have a reaction to Hep B and that it was one of the safer
shots available. After this incident I decided to learn more about vaccines and
whether the gov't was indeed supplying all the information necessary for parents
to make informed choices or if they were simply acting for the "good of the
whole at the sacrifice of a few". Your research was the first thing that I
stumbled upon in my quest and it made me realize that the government is
withholding some valid research and information from the general public and
doing it's best to discredit anything that may contradict their stand of vaccine
safety. However, it is through research like yours and the availability of that
research to the people, that people have started to ask
  questions and change has already started to occur as thermiserol is being
removed from vaccines (without a government admission that it was dangerous, of
course).

Because of the studies that you and other researchers have done on adverse
events from vaccines, I have been able to make choices for my daughter that are
based on all information, and not the filtered gov't issued statements. I have
decided to get her the DTaP and Prevnar shots because I run a home daycare and
have older children in high school (both increasing her risks for these
diseases), but have decided to hold off or not give other vaccines. Ironically,
the one vaccine that I am most at odds over is the Measles vaccine. This disease
struck 55,000 Americans between 1989-1991 and 135 died, with another signicant
amount with serious complications. Also, 745,000 people died from Measles last
year throughout the world. However, with such a large increase in Autism since
the MMR was introduced I am hesitant to protect my daughter with this shot. I
have heard that this increase did not occur until the combination vaccine was
introduced and that by separating the components you could
  reduce the risk of vaccine injury. I would be delighted to hear your opinion as
to whether your research or that of any of your collegues prove this to be true?

Dear Dr. Wakefield,
I wanted to add my voice and the unheard voices of my children to this group of
individuals who are showing you how much we appreciate you and all you do/have
done for us and our children.
I am the mother of identical twin boys , born at 28 weeks gestation and given
their vaccinations before they even left the hospital NICU at 3 pounds each.  It
horrifies me that nowhere is the "negative" information on vaccinations made
available to new parents. We are literally patted on the head and told this is
the way it has to be.  If I had known then, the things I know now; my children
would never have been inoculated. Not at 3 pounds, not at 10 pounds, not ever.
At 18 months after receiving their DTP shots, both my boys had horrendous fevers
that spiked and required hospitalization overnight.  They stopped playing
appropriately, they stopped eating some of their favourite foods, they stopped
looking at us in joy to share, stopped giving us that wonderful secret smile
that children have, they stopped babbling and regressed to making one single
repetitive sound all day and long into the night....."aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" . 
Soon after they started hand flapping and holding objects very close to their
faces.  They were different babies.
Now they are 4 years old, we still have no words from one....But we have gained
back all the babbling and sounds, The other is talking!  We will not be getting
their booster shot to start school and have already filed our Vaccination
Exemption forms to the Health Unit in Ontario.
We love you Dr. Wakefield. Without you we would have no truth at all......

As a parent of 5 children, even a year ago, I was not too terribly
interested in why 2 of them had been diagnosed with ASD and another
son of ours has a tic disorder. I was led to believe it was
a "genetic thing" and did not look for any further answers/reasons
until fairly recently. I had been led to believe by our own Geneva
Centre for Autism (a few years ago) that any relationships between
vaccines and autism are a lot of bunk. However, a strange thing has
happened since then. The Geneva Centre has been hosting more
presentations by presenters which they may have pooh-poohed earlier.
So, I am grateful that you are standing by your work.
I wish you all the best. It seems that you are in a difficult spot

Dear Dr. Wakefield:

Thank you for the honest science that you have done and continue to do.  My
3-year-old had bowel problems for 1-1/2 years after receiving the MMR, chicken
pox and all the other mandated vaccines in one day at 15 months.  He had very
high fevers (105.6) on and off for months afterward, and "viral rashes" which
came and went.  I believe that he might have shed one of the live viruses to
his little brother who was 12 months younger.  My youngest has had bowel
problems for almost two years now (He is almost 3), but we think he may finally
be
coming out of it. They are not autistic, but I strongly believe that their
bowel problems were caused by vaccines they received.  Noone else in our family
has a history of bowel problems.

Dr. Wakefield,
I have written once before to say thank you for your work in relation to the MMR
and Autism. I am extremely grateful for your efforts on behalf of children like
my son.
I am at a loss as to which direction to head with my son and am hoping you can
shed some light for me.  I know you cannot give specific medical advice, but I
am looking for some general guidance.

Justin has been tested by Dr. Singh and showed positive to MBP Antibodies and
had high measles (IgG) antibodies (3.73) units.  Justin does not appear to have
GI problems in that he has not ever had chronic diarreaha or constipation.  An
OAT test revealed high levels of arabinose and so indicated a yeast overgrowth
which we treated, although I believe it still exists to this day.

We live in Canada and I have been laughed out of sooooo many doctors' offices
that it's hard to know what to do next.  I am tired of being patronized. My son
will soon be 6 (he was diagnosed at 2.5) I feel we have wasted so much precious
time.

The GF/CF/Sugar free/yeast free diet we tried was very strict and we stuck to it
fiercely.  It showed no improvement.  We have briefly tried chelation, which
revealed very small amounts of everything from arsenic to mercury coming out.  I
discontinued when he became sick with the flu.

Justin falls into the autoimmune category more than any other.  He is
continually sick. I know the MMR is the root of his problem but I don't know
what to do about it.
There is no one here to help us. The Alberta Children's Hospital, just last
week, told me to accept him as he was and that these tests mean nothing.

Any advice you could offer would be extremely  helpful.  I pray that you are
able to endure the obstacles that have been put in your path.  Once again, we
thank you and encourage you to continue your work.
