Hi guys,
I had my right testicle removed last year. I must of had cancer in it
for 18months before it was diagnosed. I complained to my doctor of
the pain in the testicles and he kept blaming it on my bad back
causing refered pain.He never gave me a proper test.Always said lay
on the couch pull your shirt up and would feel my lower abdoman and
say cough and would say there was no hernia. Never gave me a
testicle "feelling" examination. Last december My testicle swelled so
large within a few days and became heavy. Luckily my doctor was away
so I went to another and as soon as he looked at it he new it was
cancer. It was a 6.5 seminoma malignant cancer with some spread. So a
removal was done. After that a cat scan showed numerous enlarged
nodes in my chest and lungs. So then chemotherapy was aranged. 2 days
before chemo was aranged I had a lung biopsy. I was admitted to
hospital for the chemo and I was all ready for the iv and it was
cancelled as the biopsy results came in that I had sarcoidosis in
both lungs too. So the haematologist and oncologist said it was too
risky to do as I most probably would have life threatening lung
damage to proceed. So it was decided to do 5 weeks of radiation. I
got really ill from it and was sick every day. Further scans since
then still show numerous enlarged nodes. It was decided to monitor me
with regularfull body catscans and blood tests and once they start to
get bigger or spread is shown to risk chemo as a last resort. So im
stuck in a serveillance mode not knowing what lays ahead for me.
Also since my testicle removal my testosterone production plumeted to
very low.Caused me to be so depressed, weak. body ache and sexual
problems. So started hormone therapy 4 months ago taking sustanon250
injections every 2 weeks. Ouch very painful jabs as it is a oil based
injection and deep muscle. In 2 weeks I will have testosterone
pellets implanted into my abdoman and that will give me a steady flow
of hormones for 4 to 5 months before a new lot of pellets have to be
implanted.
At present I am having a hard time still trying to come to terms with
it all.Just wish everything was all clear.

I'm sorry to hear about this, sounds like you've been misdiagnosed for far too long. Good thing you found a doctor that at least knew what he was doing. This...
