My suggestion would be to shop shop shop for insurance. I'm not sure what
the policy is like in the UK, but here in the states I know I pay no penalty
for being a cancer survivor. At least not now that it has been so long
since I had cancer (17 years). Perhaps what you might consider is finding
the minimum coverage level that would be less expensive for the next 3 years
or so, until your rates go down.

Insurance on a new mortgage..... is this life insurance or home owners
insurance?

In either case your rates will go down over time.

Subject: life cover insurance

Ihave recently tried to obtain insurance on a new mortgage. Subsequently
once the company are awre i have testicular cancer the cost goes through
the roof.Does anyone know of ant companies that specialise in covering
cancer patients, after all my oncologist said if you get a cancer this is
the best one to have ,due the high cure rate.Iwould be grateful to hear
from anyone who could help, there must be more people out there like
myself.
