Hello, My name is Tessa. I 've been a member of this group for a while. My
husband was diagnosed with Testicular cancer in Jan of 2000. At the time we
had a baby daughter that was not ever a year old yet. His doctors told him
that he would probably never be able to have children again. We set our
minds that we had her just in time and that she was a mircle. We've been
trying ever since and after all these years I'm pregnant. What a suprise.
We just can't believe it. He had the surgery to remove the one testicle and
went through 4 cycles of chemo. We went in for a ct-scan and thought that
we were all done and it showed that he had 4 small spots between both
lungs(he was at a state 3 and it had already spread into his lungs). So
here we go again, they sent us to a cardiologist and he had a chest
surgury. They so it like open heart surgury, breaking the breast bone.
When they go in they found 20 tumers between both lungs and they were all
negative for cancer. Thank god.
