Hi everyone! Welcome to the club that focuses on you, the teen crohnies. My name is Leslie and I started this club a long long time ago but haven't been able to put much time into it because of well usual teenage stuff. School, work, sleep, partying etc. I hope to be able to put more time and effort into it now. I am actually coming to the end of my teenage years and therefore will not be a teen crohnie anymore, but that doesn't mean that I can't relate to the rest of you. I was a teenager, and still am for a while so my experiences will still reflect some of yours. I have had crohn's since April of '99. I also had a gastrostomy tube was on prednisone, immuran, 6-mp, methatrexate, pentasa, asacol, and now I'm on remicade and have been for almost two years. Remicade was the best thing to happen to me, I am feeling great and I hope you are too! I hope you all find this club to be a comfortable place where people understand you, and can relate to you. Please don't be afraid to e-mail me with any questions or concerns you may have! Hopefully you will feel comfortable here and make friends! Everybody is welcome teen or not, the way I see it everyone was or will be a teen at one point so everbody will be able to help out!
