Hey Noelle!

It's awesome that you are so supportive of your friend. My boyfriend
knows I am bulimic and he felt the same way you do. We decided on a
plan: we go to www.fitday.com and record all of the things we ate
during the day. He plans my meals for me. Things I like and that
are
in the calorie range I want to lose weight. Basically, he goes
through
my struggle WITH me. We try to eat healthy together. He eats more
than me, so he doesn't lose weight but I do lose weight and feel less
inclined to purge. It's something you really should try with your
friend. I'm sure she feels out of control, especially with her RUDE
parents. You need to give her a sense of control. Binging and
purging
is a constant cycle that results from a feeling of lost control.

Terry Schiavo was bulimic. You might want to let her know that.

Good luck!
Cara
