RE: To Ashley

<< Please post back saying how you get on>>

hey jo, sorry i haven't posted in such a long time. i've been in the
hospital. anyway, i haven't been on these antidepressants long
enough for them to actually start working, so i can't say if they
really help my bulimia or not. however, after i got out of the
hospital (i wasn't hospitalized for bulimia by the way), the doctors
there recommended i follow up with some outpatient therapy, so
i had my first appointment with a psychiatrist who specializes in
eating disorders. basically what i learned was that bulimia can
cause your seratonin levels to crash drastically, causing a
person to get depressed. i'm sorry, this didn't really help much,
but that's all i've really learned so far!

Hey Ashley! I personally don't know any bulimics who have taken any antidepressants {well actually I don't know any in person at all}, so I'm not quite sure...
