Hey Ashley!
I personally don't know any bulimics who have taken any
antidepressants {well actually I don't know any in person at all},
so I'm not quite sure what to say. I think that you should listen to
what the doctor says to you, and then your own decision as to what
you want to do. Maybe you feel that you could cope without them, or
maybe you feel that they could help you. I don't know muh about them
myself, would it be possible for you try them and then stop if you
don't like it? It's important to find out what's best for you,
because what workd for someone else may not be good for you. I
shouldn't think that there would be too many adverse effects seeing
as the whole point of them is to make you feel better an everything
because otherwise you're just defeating the object. I'm sorry I
haven't been very helpful, I don't know much about that sort of
thing. Please post back saying how you get on, and I hope your
metting with the doctor goes well. I'm sure the doctor won't advise
you to take something that isn't right for you, and it's great that
you're willing to go and see him//her and help yourself!
