Talk About Curing Autism Virginia

This is a group for families with autism helping families with autism — the mission of TACA (Talk About Curing Autism), originally a California-based support group founded in 2000 by Lisa Ackerman. This board is an offshoot and forum for discussion of this valuable organization. Its purpose is aimed at sharing information, resources, and support for those affected by autism. We will focus on a wide variety of topics that affect our children everyday. These issues may include such things as biomedical interventions (diets, supplements, detoxification, bacterial and fungal problems etc), traditional therapies (ABA, DTT, Speech, OT, RDI, Tomatis, etc), education, classroom settings, legal rights, insurance, family/marriage issues, $$$….you name it! Autism not only affects the child, it permeates almost every facet of our lives. This is an unmoderated list but is obviously part of the World Wide Web and you are advised to assume others may be able to view your posts. YOU CAN NOT JOIN THIS GROUP WITHOUT COMPLETING THE QUESTIONAIRE.
