It is primarily set up to allow women another option other than the traditional costly and complicated techniques of donor insemination for example IVF and GIFT. The most unintrusive and convenient method is hand-to-hand transfer, but shipping and other methods have worked sucessfully in the past.

NO discussion, or offer of sexual intercourse is permitted in the group, and all donors must have current health certification. NO charges may be made for sperm, as this contravenes Australian law - only receipted expenses can be reimbursed.
