Hi there,
I've had seating hands and feet since before I can remember. I went to
the doctors twice over the condition but recieved little help. Thanks
to the internet I heard of iontophoresis treatment. Naturally I didn't
believe that I would ever be free of my condition but was willing to
try almost anything. Hence, armed with printout's of information I
wnet again to the GP's and ask to be refered to the local hospital
(which I knew did the treatment since I saw their consent for on the
net) After negociating my way around one doctor (who tried to tell me
that iontophoresis had a small success rate, and that I should go for
the operation instead) I finally recieved the treatment. After the 3rd
treatment my sweating acutally increased but after a few more visits
sweating completely stopped. I now use the home version of the machine
which I need to use about every 2 months to keep the sweating at bay
but I'm luck since some need to use it more frequently than that.
I now almost go out of my way to shake peoples hands (which, like most
sufferers, I feared most.)
If you have any questions you'd like to ask about the treatment please
drop me a line and I'd be happy to answer them (so long as it's not
too technical.
cheers
Carl
