Hi, everyone!
My name is Deborah. I joined because we learned my dad has leukemia last May.
He was admitted into the hospital on Dec. 30, '05 'cuz his white cell count was
176,000! He underwent chemo and is doing fine now.
He will be undergoing chemo for the next 4 months. At the end of January, he
will be given Retuxin (not sure how to spell it) so, I am definitely going to
have to help him 'cuz when he was given that in the hospital, he was so sick and
had the chills.
I look forward to hearing about how others are coping either with leukemia
themselves or through a loved one. This is all new to me so, I would like to
learn all I can.
