You might have to wait and see how your SIL does with chemo and what kind she
has....if she is sick or tired from it ...then you may help by having some meals
made or a cleaning service come at her convenince. Ask her what errands you can
do for her dont ask if there is anything I can...just do it. If you ask you
probably wont get a response from her,the people that helped me more are the
ones that did ...they didnt ask. Let her know she isnt alone and she has
support. Other then that at this point thats about all anyone can do and also
try and not to treat her any differently that is the biggest key thru all this.
Hope this helps. Many prayers to you and your family!!!

Leukemia and will be starting
Chemo today or tomorrow. As of last night, they have not identified
exactly which type she has.
To make matters much worse, she is 31 weeks pregnant. Clearly she and
my brother (as well as our whole family) are very frightened.
I am actually looking for advice as to how to be most helpful to them.
Was there anything that friends or family did for you or said to you
that you found helpful/strengthening/comforting? My SIL is a very
private person and doesn't want a lot of visitors, which I respect.
Thank you for any advice you have to offer.
Blessings,
Monica
