Hi, I'm new to this group. I was wondering if any of you knew much
about, or could direct me to a site about Hairy Cell Leukemia. My
dad has had it for a year or two, and he was on a 24 hour kind of
drip chemo therapy thing. It seemed to leave him alone for a little
while, but he was starting to feel bad again, and his blood levels
were going down again. Last week, he went to the doctor and found
that his hairy cell leukemia had come back, and he's on chemo therapy
again, but only once a week for two hours. I thought he was cured
the first time, but now I'm very scared, and I don't know what to
think. I don't know what his chances are for survival, and I'm
really afraid of losing him. If anyone can give me any information
on this type of leukemia, or direct me to a website, I'd be very
