We are an information and support group designed for those having experienced, or who are considering, gastric bypass surgery.

As a large percentage of us have already undergone lap band surgery previously, there is also a wealth of experience and guidance available in this area as well.

We also welcome friends with an interest in WLS who just want to 'pop in' for a chat.

We would like to be a 'comfort zone' where you can freely convey your feelings, bypass related or not, voice your concerns, chat about your victories, disappointments and insecurities. Nothing is taboo provided it is not offensive in a derogatory way to other members.

Privacy is paramount to this group. No information about another member should ever be disclosed without their prior consent nor should material be filed for future use under any circumstance.

Members should always feel they can express themselves freely without fear of ridicule or retribution.
