Interesting,I have a couple of Adelle Davis
books..."Lets Eat right "...and one other one. I know many
would say her research is from a time long ago but I
think even today her research is far ahead of it's
time. i think that many products as far as
herbs,vitamins,ect..have gotten a bad rap due to the fact that processors
make such large quantitys which then end up sitting on
shelves for too long...Im a strict believer in freshness
when it comes to vitamins.I agree with you whole
heartedly about the preservative issue in foods as well.
One book you may find interesting is (and it was
written by a vegetarian and I am not but "loved" the
informative read ,is a book called "Fit For Life 2,Living
Health" By Harvey and Marylin Diamond.It delves a bit
into the histories of some of the additives in foods
today,and stresses a diet high in fruits and vegetables.-M
