CFS/ME (chronic fatigue syndrome/myalgic encephalomyelitis) is an
illness characterised by extreme exhaustion. It can strike at any age
and can affect children as well as adults. The cause is unknown and
recovery can take years. Some people don't recover at all and some
suffer relapses for the rest of their lives.
