I updated my website, so that it has a new look now (http://www.sunlight.as.ro). There were many updates on the page referring to the history of religious SG (http://www.sunlight.as.ro/history_of_sun_gazing.htm). Among others, you can find there parallels between Sol Invictus and the Statue of Liberty or between the obelisk from Washington and that from St. Peters Square.
