Hi, all
Today this list became one year old. It is a special time, since it happens to be just before the Easter celebration of this year. For me this day is also special, because, for the first time, after the sunrise SG I said a long prayer to the Holy Ghost, that is closely related to the sun, and believe it or not, that was an excellent experience, I really felt connected to the Holly Ghost through the sun.
Now, knowing that might not be of interest for you, I downgrade to the more mundane effects of the sun deprivation.
About 400,000 Americans have been diagnosed with MS (multiple sclerosis). The recent issue of the British Medical Journal presents a population based case-control study of the effect of past sun exposure on the risk of MS in residents of Tasmania, Australia. The results indicate that increased exposure to sunlight during childhood and early adolescence and greater actinic damage to the skin are associated with reduced risk of MS. Insufficient ultraviolet radiation may therefore influence the development of multiple sclerosis.(http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?cmd=Retrieve&db=PubMed&list_uids=12907484&dopt=Abstract)
