Hi,

hey Stroller Strides mommies.. i'm looking for a good babysitter to watch my 13
month old
son. my husband and i have had very few date nights since Cruz was born and we
would love
to hire a reliable and nuturing babysitter for the occasional outing. if any one
knows of good
babysitter, preferably one you use yourself, let me know. thx!

note: i'm not looking for referrals to babysitting or nanny services.. i would
like personal
recommendations for an actual person.

Hi Ladies,

I wanted to start off by saying that I am happy to be apart of the
west LA Stroller Stride family.  All of you have been of great help
to me in sharing stories of raising kids.  I would really like for
us to keep the messages come.  I've been on another group and have
become disapointed in all of the negativity there that I really want
to have this one be positive and that we really keep it going.

So to get it started:

Elias as you all know is still not sleeping threw the night!!!  He
was sick a couple of weeks ago, so he lost weight, and now were
starting to learn to feed solids again.  It seems he's starting to
wean off of nursing however he still is not drink more than 4 oz of
milk at a time ever two 1/2 hours if that!  We go in to the Dr's in
a couple of weeks at that Point the Dr will chart to see where he is
in his growth.

My question, is what can I feed him to get him full(Because he's
still hungry at 9pm, 2am,4am,6am)!  I'm also worried as to how this
may effect his growth.  Has anyone gone through these issues?
He's a happy baby and wakes up as if he got a good rest.  He also
has energy threw out the day.  He's really active and starting to
creep along.  My concern are he's eating habits.

Anyways sorry this email keeps going.  Any suggesting will be
greatly apreciated.

I just bought 3 books on overstock.com for $27 (shipping included).  This was a

Hi Ladies:

I'm doing an article for Elle magazine about
problems arising as a result of vaginal childbirths: i.e. incontinence,
loss of sexual feeling, or other complaints. I'm interested in
speaking to anyone who has had these problems, whether or not they have
sought treatment. (Of course, I am happy to have anyone speak
anonymously.) Also, if anyone has seen Dr. Matlock in Los Angeles who
offers a treatment called Laser Vaginal Rejeuvenation for women with
postpartum issues, I'd be very interested in hearing about your
experience.
