I participated in Buteyko group for a while. It appears to help some
people however not immediately (it want stop an attack) but after
long practice. Success is mixed, if it is to be judged from the group
messages.
Regarding Frolov's device, I heard about it. It is something like
breating through something that gives you resistance. I guess
breating through a 10M pipe would give you an idea.
Usefulness is probably similar to that of any other exerciese,
but again I don't think it can stop an ongoing asthma attack.
