Hi Phil,
The Dovo razor that was giving me trouble is a Dovo Black Star. It is
at the lower end of the Dovo razors but I have no reason to suspect that
its quality is significantly different than any other Dovo. I have just
been assuming that my beard responds better to stainless steel blades
than high carbon ones. This is actually an issue that I would like to
get cleared up because I have really been wanting to try a Maestro Livi
"new grind" razor but have been affraid to purchase because it is made
from high carbon steel! Have you (or anyone else on this thread) tried
any other razors that are made from high carbon steel and had better
results?
