Re: [Stomach Cancer] Hopeless situation

I am so sorry for your loss - what did we do to deserve this? My husband and I
watched his sister pass away from tongue cancer - she lasted until 2 days past
her 45th birthday. People go through their whole lives without going through
this pain and here we have gone through or are going through this loss. On the
other hand though we are survivors! I am not a religious person but I do
believe that if we couldn't handle this situation it wouldn't have been in our
path to deal with.
All we can do is support each other.
Again Lisa I am so sorry that you lost a loved one to this. I don't think my
dad is going to be with us for long either.

Our little dog is glued to my dad's side - do you think she knows what's going
on? She usually sticks pretty close to my husband and myself but since my dad
has moved in we have been totally ignored. She is a shitzu/bichon.

Heather,

I am saddened to hear of your news. My husband was diagnosed back in November.
It is a nasty disease and my heart goes out to you. I buried my husband on
Monday. He had been given six to twelve months, but the cancer had other plans.

Lisa.
