I am wondering if someone or anyone can shed some light, offer some
insight or just some words of advice to me. Here is my story. I found
out on Thursday that my brother (38yrs old) has stomach cancer. About
3 months ago his wife left him and through the depression of that he
lost alot of weight, when he did he noticed a large protruding lump
in his stomach. he went to the Doctors and they did a biopsy. later
to find out it was cancer. My brother didnt want to know anything and
avoided the doctors phone calls. At this point he has told the Doctor
basically just tell me when and where to be. He drives to Rochester
once a week and they are injecting shots to try to shrink the tumor
with the hope of removing it. That is the only information I have
because its the only information my brother wants....( I AM SO SAD)
he did say it was only a 50/50. I am not sure what that means either.
I know for quite sometime, maybe years he thought he had heartburn,
indigestion, ate lots of rolaids.... was this the beginning?? UN-
NOTICED? can anyone tell me where he is at. what is the survival
rate. anyone have similiar stories, willing to share? I am lost,
scared, sad and looking for honest answers.

Thank you and you are all in my prayes and ask that you keep my
brother in yours
