Hello, my name is Gerlinda; but I like to be called Gerry. I was
diagnosed with Stage III Stomach Cancer in February 2006. I had surgery
in March, had 3/4 of my stomach removed. I started chemotherapy and
radiation in April. I had my last treatment in August. I returned to
work in September and so far I have been feeling pretty good. I am
working on trying to gain back some of the weight that was lost before
and after diagnosis, if anyone has any suggestions I would really
appreciate it. I am looking forward to hearing from individuals who are
living with stomach cancer or those who have loved ones who have had
this type of cancer.
