Hi, I do not usually respond but today I thought I would after reading Linda and Sandara"s reply. I am going into my fifth year cancer free and I am still plugging along. I have a hernia also that is giving me some grief also but not nearly as much as Linda. I just want to send out good wishes to both Linda and Sandara and prayers to all of the group members.
always, deb

Hhhmmm - I was not sure I was going to respong but then I thought I should but I have no good news to report and did not want to brings others down.
My hernias are getting bigger by the day. I was taken out of my hernia support by my spinal surgeon because the pressure was causing spinal leaks where I have the outside sac. It seems that this has just cause the hernias to go wild. I am taking 3 different type laxatives a day all throughout the day to keep the bowel functioning. My trauma surgeon will only touch me in a matter of life and death and I trust his judgement.
I am having issues with the flanges sticking because of the changing of the abdomen from the hernias moving around. So I have been having blow outs with both ostomies. And getting that old faithful yeast infections from the bacteria.
I am trying to get over a deep depression. I have been so deep in the pit and am having issues finding my way out.
I have to go to a Lymphadema clinic becaue my legs and feet are so swollen I can not get into my socks or shoes. The doctor had tried all normal methods of treating this but nothing is working. Not even 80 mg lasix a day. I am waiting for an appointment.
Linda
