Hello Bev
Living with an ileostomy DOESN'T have to be bad. I had mine for over
18 years. I was only 17 when I had to have it done. I worked for many
years also and had 2 children afterwards.
There are ways to get around leaking. What kind of leaks are you
having? As in, from scar tissue around your stoma, ill fitting
pouches? Feel free to email me at any time.

with the depression and fear when you first start getting back to
normal. You may not believe in now but in time you will not even think
about your ostomy. I am so sorry to hear you had such a hard time and
needed to have your ostomy. Please post your fears and I can tell you
what I did to get over them. I hope to hear from you real soon.
