Hi,

I've been using the Hollister two piece ostomy system for several
years now but over the past 6 weeks or so the skin under the bottom
corner of the flange is irritated. I use an Eakin Seal and then Adapt
paste around the hole but nothing under the corners. The skin is red
and sometimes itchy, but not usually until I take it off. It looks
icky, but the biggest problem is that the adhesive doesn't stick to
that corner for more than one day so I usually put some pink tape
across it to reinforce.

Any thoughts you all have on what could be going on, and how I can
resolve the problem are greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Dianna

Do you use the flexible flange with a tape collar? If so you could trim that corner so there would not be tape on the sore until it dries up and heals. Bob has...
