My twin grandsons' attend the same public school as I did well over
60 years ago. And, having started formulating my family history and
memoirs about six years ago when they were born, I have just
inserted my latest observation on page 75 of those memoirs and
thought all concerned might enjoy a good laugh..... Susan is my
daughter.......
Feb 9, 2004
Susan informed us of a funny episode that happened at Victory School
today.
The senior kindergarten teacher, Mrs. McKeown, was trying to find
out if the children in her class knew where they lived.
Any child that lived in the town proper would probably know their
street and address, but the out-of-town students, like Griffin and
Madison, who lived in the out-back so to speak, would be a little
confused by the question as they did not live on a named street.
When she asked Griffin where he lived, he replied, "me don't know
where me live".
When the teacher next asked the same question of his twin brother
Madison, he replied, "me live with Griffin".
We all got a great laugh over this latest chapter in the growing up
of the Watkinson twins from Seguin township.
