Hello, I am new to this group and just have a few questions hopefully I
can get some feed back on. My 3 and a half month old son has cleft
palate with the pierre robin syndrome. He is currently using the
habrman nipple, which has been a life saver by the way. Doctors have
told us that we need to have him drinking out of a cup by the time that
he is a year so that he is completly bottle broken when his cleft is
repaired. I would like to know if anyone has any techniques they would
suggest to use when going from nipple stright to cup, anything to make
the transition a little easier? Also what is a good brand of a spouted
cup that is easy to work with? My last question is this- I just noticed
that he had his first tooth come through, he is only 3 and a half
months. Has anyone else experienced this in relation to the pierre
robin syndrome? Any feedback would be greatly helpful.
