Hi i'm a 24yr male who has sticklers syndrome, i have been diagnosed
with this since i was 8, and i've recently been diagnosed with another
dissorder (Osteochondritis Dissecans). Osteochondritis Dissecans is
where weak bone matter (cartilage) breaks off and floats loosly in
between your joint I.E. shoulder, knee, elbow, i have got this in my
hip joint which i am told is rare. i was woundering how many other
people who have stickler syndrome suffer with a similar problem or have
been diagnosed with Osteochondritis Dissecans. if you are unsure here
is a website that you can get full details from
http://www.wrongdiagnosis.com/o/osteochondritis_dissecans/intro.htm
please feel free to contact me via email at r.mcnay@... i am
interested in seeing if the two dissorders are linked in any way and if
Osteochondritis Dissecans is common in stickler syndrom
thanx for your time reading this russ
