Disclaimer: If this is off-topic, which it most likely is, I am in
desperate need to help my niece. No mother should have to go through
what she has been. To only hold your newborn twice in 7 weeks is
horrible. Some of you may be saying, "What is she nuts? This isn't
the group for this." I know that. I am hoping someone can help me
with the nursing problem that we are facing now.
My great-nephew was born 7 weeks ago with Pierre Robin Sequence.
http://www.faces-cranio.org/Disord/PierreRobin.htm He is in
Children's Hospital in Philadelphia, unable to come home because we
cannot find a nurse who can take care of him. See below for what is
required. We live in Phillipsburg, NJ 08865, so obviously, the nurse
would have to live relatively close. My niece has only held my
nephew twice in the past 7 weeks. This totally upsets me. If there is
anyone than can help me or point me in the right direction, please do
so! Thank you so much.
