I know most of the group members here
are mothers of sticklers children.
But Iam a sticklers child.
Im 14 and live in colorado I found out
I had the syndrom in the 4th grade
when my retina detached. Iam now in
the eighth grade and blind in one eye.
All the joints in my body are doubled
and doctors are afraid they will
be deminished by the time im 30. I had
cleft pallet and glaucoma when i was born,
but soon corrected. If my doctors had
taken the time to examine me when I was young
I may not be in danger of going blind today
and I urge you to get involved and be
persistant with your childrens doctors.
It could mean allot in the future.
