Re: Update from my friend in Europe-sair

Another update- my friend from
Europe:

"That situation in France is exactly that. 2 1/2 weeks
ago in
Sonntagsblick, they had estimated a loss of
500m SFR for
the French operations, and Sabena is
peanuts against that.
SAir is undercapitalized now,
and they have to find some
cash fast. To quickly
sell one of the loss making groups is
out of
question, they can only hope to sell one money
making,
healthy company fast, which will find eager takers. And
Gate
Gourmet is the one bringing in money. Same for the
plane
leasing company, now their results beefed up the numbers
for the SR operations. But selling those units, it
will give them
only a short respite, unless they
can turn around the loss
making units. The future
of SAir does not look bright. Might
be the reason
behind delaying the posting of their results."
