Hello Members
As a result of the poor turnout we have been having at our club
meetings, it is with a sad heart that I changed our method of
communicating. If you would be so kind as to take a look at the club
discription and note that I have suggested that if anyone has any
issues that I have mentioned that they post a message and I will make
every effort to get back to them with a suggestion of how other
people have handled the problem. If any other member has a
suggestion to any question feel free to respond in the same fashion.
Please use the club as it was intended, spouses helping spouses.
Thanks
Ed
Hi Members
I have been somewhat disappointed with the turnout we have been
having, therefore I would like to point out this is your opportunity
to vist with friends who are suffering the same pain you are. This
was the purpose when I formed the club. It is one hour a month that I
set aside to meet with you in the hope that I can make a difference
and to listen. I know we all have situation that come up but having
said that let me point out that it is a priority for me as four years
ago I made a commitment to be in the club chat room once a month for
our meeting. Please mark your calendar for Wed March 3rd at 9:00 pm
EST, I'll be there and I hope to chat with you. Ed

TURN ON YOUR SPEAKERS...
IS THIS CUTE OR WHAT?
On Line Friends
I had some free time, so what did I do?
I checked the computer to see if I'd heard from you!
I used to walk out to a box to retrieve mail.
But I'd rather get it instantly, than wait on the snail!
Checking my e-mail is always fun!
I usually get a joke or greeting from someone.
I feel so blessed because on the other end,
I know I've connected with a friend!
When I've had a hard day and need to share,
Here I can find a friend who will listen and care.
And to this friend I hope I've let them know
That I am always there for them also!
Isn't it a strange kind of bond we form?
It isn't exactly like the "norm"!
But, where is it written, face to face we must be,
For you to be a very good friend to me??
That little joke or note, or just a simple "Hi",
Could be like a ray of sunshine from the sky!
So my online pals, this is dedicated to you,
For all the smiles you have made anew!
May our friendship continue to grow,
And the warmth we feel continue to flow!
Always remember this...
A smile is such an easy thing to pass along the way,
Like a ray of summer sunshine,
On a somewhat gloomy day!!
Thank you for being my Online Friend!!!

Thank you for allowing me membership in this group.
My husband was recently diagnosed AD in June. For the time being, I
probably will not be able to join in your monthly chat, as I notice
the time to be 8:00p.m. in my locale. Since he does not feel that he
has any problem or prefers to deny, I am unable to get online for
support until after he retires. Is there anyway that I can read about
the subject matter at a later time?
Thanks,
Dee

Thank you Anne. My chat ID on Yahoo is artena_douglas.
We live in Alberta, Canada.
My hubby was in Respite for a week and came home
yesterday. Sometimes I think his coming home is worse
than if he never went.
He hated the food, he hated the people, he hated the
bed, everyone tried to steal everything he had...this
is all I hear for the next 2 weeks. All the rest and
recuping I have done for a week is fast disapated!
Oh, well, onward and upward...lol!
Thank you for the welcome.
