Thank you all for your friendly welcome. I'm
having computer problems and will probably be off line
for a while, but will try to make the Aug. 9th get
together. I know you all are going thru this terrible
disease and watching your loved one disappear slowly.
After 36 years you sort of get joined at the hip and
know what buttons not to push in order to make a
pretty good marriage. We have a cabin in the local
mountains and she loves to go there, so we spend about a
third of our time in the trees and take walks. At this
stage she watches TV constantly. I'm not a boob-tube
fan. I am able to work in my shop and check on her
periodically. Since I attempt to do the cooking now, we eat out
a lot. I've always taken pride in being able to do
most things, but the kitchen is a foriegn
land.<br>Most people do not know my wife has a problem when
they first meet her. She is still openly friendly to
most folks and likes to joke with them. If she likes
you, you get a hug.<br>However she is at the stage
where she cannot follow simple directions like "pick up
the fork, honey". She will look around her plate for
something and not find the fork in front of her. This was
the,"get-it-done-gal" always in charge. I sure miss her. But you can't
stop loving her just because she has a
problem.<br>Well I've blabbered long enough. Thanks for listening.
