hi ed and rest of group
its been a long time since i have checked in with everyone. Things
here with tim have been somewhat good. He has and still is
progressing slowly. Why the doctors can't tell us, maybe the aricept
who knows. The doctors tell us even they can't give us all the
answers because they don't have them. But like it or not Tim is
deteriating. His speech seems slower and takes him longer now to
finish a sentence. Repeating himself is now at times more
noticeable. We had an episode in August where he wandered off on us
and the police took 2 hours to find him. Tim has no concept of time,
he had no idea how long he was gone or that he was even missing, when
they brought him home he was crying and saying that his feet would
not stop moving. Very frightening for us all. Things have been very
good otherwise considering what they could be like. I will try to
stay in touch better than i have. take care all
Joan Lauzon
