My spouse doesnt have AD but my father does so I
joined thinking that maybe I could pick up some
information about the disease. Seems like from what I have
read that there are basic characteristics. My father
has trouble sleeping at night, roams the house, and
talks to imaginary people. To compound the problem he
has a balance problem and is like a 160# baby trying
to bath him. My parents are in their 70's, my mother
has cared for him but it is getting too much on her,
I have no ideo what to suggest to her about what to
do other than to try to help, maybe a nursing home
would be the best, it just that sometimes he comes out
and is ok,,but 10 min later is back to irrational
behavior.
